The Role:
We are seeking two skilled and motivated Senior New Product Developers. One role will focus on enhancing product innovation for WeCool Toys, collaborating closely with our creative team in the USA.
This position is crucial for planning, developing, and launching products in key categories such as Lighting, Toys & Collectibles, aimed at driving business growth.
The Senior New Product Developer will be responsible for identifying new opportunities while ensuring product innovation, brand consistency, and high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Innovation & Trends
- Analyze market trends using data and research to strategize new product lines.
- Develop concepts for new products that are commercially viable and present them effectively to stakeholders.
- Ensure product and packaging align with market trends and brand ethos.
Idea Generation & Communication
- Facilitate creative brainstorming sessions.
- Translate market research and feedback into cohesive and functional designs.
- Create compelling product concepts to communicate ideas to customers and licensors.
Market Research
- Conduct competitor analysis to assess strengths and weaknesses in the market.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify growth opportunities.
- Regularly conduct competitive shopping and share insights with the team.
NPD Process
- Possess advanced knowledge of product development processes in the toy industry.
- Oversee product development and approval processes in collaboration with design and supply chain teams.
- Create detailed specifications for factories.
Critical Path Management
- Ensure timely product launches by managing critical paths.
- Collaborate with teams to mitigate potential delays.
Process Improvement

Qualifications:
