Job Overview

  • Responsible for addressing and resolving guest-related concerns within the department.
  • Facilitates communication with the General Manager, other Department Managers, Supervisors, and Staff.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities

Take orders, prepare, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as light meals to guests in a courteous and efficient manner, adhering to hotel specifications. Ensure the cleanliness and stock of the outlet and equipment are maintained.

Qualifications
  • At least one year of experience in the Restaurant / Food and Beverage sector.
  • Must meet the minimum state age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Effective communication skills with guests, management, and co-workers.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
  • ServSafe and/or food safety training is advantageous.
  • Completion of alcohol awareness training (such as TIPS).
  • Understanding of food and beverage cost management.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Knowledge of local attractions and activities suitable for guests.
