**Position Overview:**
The **Financial Accounting team** specializes in:
- Financial reporting adhering to IFRS and FGAAP standards, including complex entities and taxation reporting.
- Financial accounting for structured products and preparation of Statutory Financial Statements.
- Consolidation of financial data, intercompany reconciliations, and coordination within global CIB.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Direct Responsibilities:**
- Manage accounting and control functions, including the preparation and posting of daily/monthly entries.
- Ensure balance sheet integrity through rigorous reconciliation processes.
- Analyze daily transactional activities and rectify posting errors.
- Conduct comprehensive account analyses and variance reviews.
- Prepare month-end substantiation packages for various legal entities.
- Assist with audit requests from external auditors and regulatory bodies.
**Reporting and Analysis:**
- Perform financial reporting and analysis for multiple legal entities across various activities.
- Support the preparation of financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.
**Contributing Responsibilities:**
- Engage in system upgrades and user acceptance testing for reporting tools.
- Identify and implement operational process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Adhere to bank policies and assist in special projects as directed by management.
**Qualifications:**
Applicants should possess:
- A CA qualification with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP reporting standards.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other business applications.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
This role requires a detail-oriented individual capable of managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality results within established timelines.
