Position Overview

NAVARINO PROPERTY MANAGEMENT LLC is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Property Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role plays a crucial part in the organization’s financial oversight, focusing on maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with established protocols, and safeguarding company resources.

This is a Full-Time, In-Office position.

The standard work hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of a modified schedule of four 10-hour shifts after the initial training period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate comprehensive financial reports to facilitate tax compliance and provide insights into the company’s financial standing.
  • Oversee monthly closing activities, including bank reconciliations and the review of financial statements.
  • Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate posting of all financial transactions and resolving discrepancies through thorough analysis.
  • Prepare journal entries along with necessary reconciliations.
  • Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
  • Support year-end tax and audit preparations by compiling financial data for external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Assist in the planning and evaluation of budget preparation.
  • Reconcile intercompany transactions.
  • Process requests for capital expenditure reimbursements from financial institutions.
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions and database tools to maintain precise financial records.
  • Revise and update current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect changes in accounting practices.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the ongoing enhancement of accounting and reporting processes to boost departmental efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of accrual accounting principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel at an intermediate to advanced level.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously to meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and quick adaptability to changing circumstances.
  • Professional and courteous communication skills essential for effective interaction with senior management, investors, lenders, property managers, and vendors.
  • Experience in property accounting is preferred.

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in the accounting sector.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
