Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage field service personnel to ensure timely execution of deadlines and meet customer expectations.
  • Coordinate with contractors, material vendors, inspectors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Develop and implement cost estimates, engineering plans, and production tracking reports to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including emergency restoration and disaster recovery of network assets.
  • Interface with state and local permitting agencies, DOTs, and other regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient with PCs, Microsoft Office Applications, Site Tracker, Google Earth, 3GIS, and other mapping software.
  • Current valid driver's license.

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to understand mapping programs and key identifiers in a fiber optic network.
  • Knowledge of Call Before You Dig rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety rules and regulations.
  • Ability to operate a FOC monitoring system.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and reach.
  • Ability to drive a motor vehicle.
  • Ability to speak, write, read, and understand English.
  • Visual acuity.
  • Ability to lift 0-25 pounds.
