Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Developmental Disabilities Director to join our team at ARC Rockland. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall direction and management of our residential programs, ensuring that individuals with developmental disabilities receive high-quality support and care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and quality care
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff members, including conducting performance reviews and evaluations
  • Manage budgets and financial resources, ensuring that funds are allocated effectively to support program goals
  • Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure seamless service delivery and coordination
  • Provide guidance and support to individuals and their families, ensuring that their needs are met and their rights are respected

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or equivalent experience
  • At least five years of experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities, with at least two years experience in a leadership or management role

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per annum
