Job DescriptionWe're seeking a highly skilled Driver- CDL (B) to join our team. As a Driver, you'll be responsible for safely operating a collection truck and providing prompt, courteous service to our customers. You'll also ensure that your vehicle is in compliance with our safety standards and complete daily vehicle condition reports.
Responsibilities- Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle
- Safely operate the heavy truck along designated routes and to disposal sites
- Courteously interact with customers, dispatchers, and others on a daily basis
- Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag them according to departmental procedures
- Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste
To be successful in this role, you'll need a Class B or higher Commercial Driver's license with air brakes endorsement. You should also have good customer service skills, time management skills, and the ability to adhere to company policies and rules.
