Academic Faculty Position

UT Health San Antonio is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team as an Academic Faculty Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery and engage in diverse clinical and academic practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient care in our Lung Transplant Program
  • Participate in scholarly activities and contribute to the growth of our department
  • Collaborate with our team of surgeons, nurse practitioners, residents, and administrative staff
Requirements:
  • Completed training program in physician assistant studies or nurse practitioner curriculum
  • Eligible or currently maintain a Texas license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant
  • Applicable board-certification and DEA certification
