Job Title: Medical Claims Analyst

Compensation: $18/hr

Location: Dallas, TX - Fully On-Site

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

Employment Type: Temp to Hire

Role Responsibilities:

  • Acquire, verify, and maintain the most up-to-date provider contact details essential for claims processing while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Engage with providers via phone, fax, or email to confirm, update, or rectify all necessary information for documentation requests.
  • Ensure validation of contact information by communicating with the highest authority in the relevant department (medical records or billing).
  • Maintain and refresh the provider contact database regularly.
  • Conduct biannual checks to ensure the accuracy of provider contact information; request updated lists from departments as necessary.
  • Handle requests and follow up on real-time inquiries from analysts.
  • Identify and correct duplicates and inaccuracies in data.
  • Report any issues or concerns to the respective Lead/Supervisor or Manager as needed.
  • Adhere to HIPAA compliance in all communications.
  • Demonstrate punctuality and consistent attendance.
  • Meet production standards and requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors, or management to achieve product goals and proactively report potential issues.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills with professional phone etiquette.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional follow-up abilities.
  • Highly organized and efficient.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a medical office or administrative role.
  • Experience in a call center is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Proven history of excellent attendance.
  • Experience in a production-driven environment is advantageous.
  • Soft sales experience is a plus.
