Phlebotomist Trainee Job Description

At MultiCare Health System, we are seeking a Phlebotomist Trainee to join our team. As a Phlebotomist Trainee, you will be responsible for obtaining blood specimens from patients of all ages in an acute care and ambulatory setting under the supervision of a Phlebotomist.

This is a great opportunity to start your career in phlebotomy and work closely with the laboratory and patient care teams. As a Phlebotomist Trainee, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Obtain blood specimens from patients of all ages in an acute care and ambulatory setting
  • Work closely with the laboratory and patient care teams
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of phlebotomy procedures and protocols
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and families
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
