Phlebotomist/X-Ray Technician

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist/X-Ray Technician to join our team at our Tacoma - Cushman Medical Clinic. As a Phlebotomist/X-Ray Technician, you will be responsible for performing phlebotomy and patient care, conducting accurate lab tests and procedures, and reporting results to licensed providers in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform phlebotomy and patient care following completion of the venipuncture.
- Conduct accurate lab tests and procedures and report results to licensed providers in a timely manner.
- Keep and maintain lab reports, Quality Control, Quality Assurance logs, process specimens for outside referrals, and keep adequate inventory of supplies.
- Perform all tasks in a safe manner and in compliance with Sea Mar Health and Safety Program and in accordance with requirements of the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments.
- Maintain confidentiality in patient records.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Graduated and certified from a recognized US Phlebotomy School Program or authenticity of documents and accreditation status of foreign schools.
- Documentation of in-house training appropriate for the testing performed prior to analyzing patient specimens.
- Certification as an X-ray technician as requested for performing routine x-rays procedures.
- WA State DOH X-Ray Technician and Phlebotomist credentials (licenses) are required.
- A minimum of one year experience in a hospital or clinic setting is desirable.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
