- Manage inventory levels, receive and display merchandise, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Sales and Customer Service
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth, including promoting products, events, and services.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure they meet sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
- Conduct regular team meetings, provide updates on sales performance, and discuss areas for improvement.
- Inventory Management
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and minimize losses.
- Marketing and Promotion
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the Tackle Department and Turner's Outdoorsman brand.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials, including flyers, posters, and social media content.
- Education and Experience
- High school graduate or equivalent required; college degree or some college preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in a lead role.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
- Knowledge of the tackle industry and products.
- Fluent in English.
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, and lift throughout the course of a scheduled shift.
- Travel Requirements
- Occasional travel required (approximately 20% of the time) for events, training seminars, and corporate meetings.
- Work Schedule
- At least 45 hours per week required; varied schedule with overtime possible.
- Requests for time off may or may not be granted during blackout periods.
