Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced FEMA Public Assistance Technical Specialist to join our team at CCG LLC. As a key member of our disaster recovery team, you will be responsible for conducting site assessments and inspections of damaged infrastructure, developing damage descriptions and dimensions, and providing technical assistance to local government officials and community leaders.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site assessments and inspections of damaged infrastructure to identify areas of need and develop scopes of work for disaster recovery projects.
  • Develop damage descriptions and dimensions in Grants Manager and provide supporting documentation for work orders.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure timely and effective delivery of disaster relief services.
  • Provide technical assistance to local government officials and community leaders to support disaster recovery efforts.
  • Oversee the construction of disaster recovery projects to ensure compliance with FEMA regulations and guidelines.
  • Prepare reports and documentation to support disaster recovery efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited university.
  • At least five years of experience in FEMA Public Assistance, disaster response, and recovery.
  • Professional licenses and certifications, such as P.E. license, PMP, etc., are required.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with local government officials, community leaders, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
