Job Summary

Adecco Healthcare is seeking a skilled Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner to join their team in a direct-hire, full-time, and permanent opportunity. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families, focusing on alleviating suffering and improving quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide home-based and community facility visits for consultative visits, pain and symptom management, and counseling on goals of care and advanced care planning.
  • Offer outpatient palliative consultations in primary care clinics and outpatient oncology settings for pain and symptom management and counseling on goals of care and advanced care planning.
  • Provide inpatient consultative services with a focus on transitions of care planning, counseling for goals of care and advanced care planning, and/or evaluating for hospice appropriateness.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Master of Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Program.
  • Active WA State RN & NP License required.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Active unrestricted DEA license required.
  • Active Board Certification by a nationally accredited agency as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner.
  • Certification in ACHPN preferred, or willingness to obtain in the next 12-18 months.
  • Graduate training in Palliative Care or minimum of 3 years of professional experience in palliative or hospice care required.
