**Job Summary**

The Salvation Army Central Territory is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backroom Lead Processor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring that our stores are well-stocked and efficiently run.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assign, direct, and ensure completion of daily tasks for production team members, including housekeeping and quality control inspections.
  • Train new team members on production expectations and processes.
  • Track and report production at scheduled times.
  • Implement assigned strategies to meet product acquisition, production, and sales goals.
  • Communicate with team members to place supply orders for next day's processing.
  • Support management with store maintenance and appearance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that workspaces are prepared for the next day's production.

**Requirements**

  • High School Diploma plus 1 year of relevant experience or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Retail sales production and/or thrift store experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to speak, write, and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with leadership and field personnel.
  • Basic computer skills, including the use of payroll programs and the ability to learn other programs or systems.

**Working Conditions**

  • Regularly required to stand, use hands, handle, or feel, and hear or talk.
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
