Lexington Medical Center seeks a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Care Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional patient care and support services.
About the RoleThis position involves assisting patients and providers with direct and indirect patient care under the direction of the provider and office manager. As a Medical Care Specialist, you will provide patient support for a variety of activities, including patient intake, data entry, and communication with patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient support and care as directed by the provider and office manager
- Assist with patient intake, registration, and scheduling
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should also possess basic computer skills and experience working with electronic medical records systems.
CompensationThe estimated salary for this position is $42,000 - $52,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
