Job Summary:
The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Primary Care Mental Health Integration Program. As a Staff Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing psychological services and collaborative care to patients in our Primary Care clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic evaluations, psychological interventions, and interdisciplinary collaboration to patients in Primary Care clinics.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Provide clinical supervision and training to Psychology Residents, Postdoctoral Fellows, and other trainees.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of program policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
- Completion of an APA-accredited internship.
- At least 1 year of postdoctoral fellowship or comparable experience in a health psychology, primary care mental health, or consultation-liaison psychology setting.
- Minimum 3 years' post-licensure experience in Clinical Psychology.
- Strong working knowledge of and skills providing cognitive-behavioral therapy and other empirically supported clinical interventions.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Positive, flexible, and solution-focused attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with children, youth, and families in Primary Care settings.
- Knowledge of multicultural psychology and ability to contribute to a diverse and inclusive work environment.
