Job Summary:
The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the Department of Psychological Services. As a Staff Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing psychological services and collaborative care to patients in our Primary Care clinics. You will work closely with our Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Care Manager team members to implement the AIMS model of Integrated Primary Care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic evaluations, psychological interventions, and interdisciplinary collaboration to patients in our Primary Care clinics.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Provide clinical supervision and training to Psychology Residents, Psychiatry Residents, and medical students.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners and healthcare providers.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in clinical psychology and primary care mental health.
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
- Completion of internship from an APA-accredited program.
- At least 1 year of postdoctoral fellowship or comparable experience in a health psychology, primary care mental health, and/or consultation-liaison psychology setting.
- Minimum 3 years' post-licensure experience in Clinical Psychology.
- Strong working knowledge of cognitive-behavioral therapy and other empirically supported clinical interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
