Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the University of Vermont Medical Center. As a Staff Psychologist, you will work closely with our Adolescent Medicine team to provide psychological services to young people with eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide diagnostic evaluation, psychological intervention, and staff consultation to patients in our Adolescent Medicine Clinic.
  • Develop and implement program initiatives to support the mental health needs of young people with eating disorders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nutritionists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Provide clinical supervision to Psychology Residents and Postdoctoral Fellows.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
  • Completion of internship from an APA-accredited program.
  • At least 1 year of postdoctoral training in an outpatient clinic and/or hospital setting.
  • Minimum 3 years of post-licensure experience in Clinical Psychology, with a strong background in individual, family, and group psychotherapy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong working knowledge of cognitive-behavioral therapy, family-based intervention, and other empirically supported clinical interventions.
  • Experience working with young people with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia, and other eating disorders.
