Construction Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Construction Technician to join our team at SERVPRO of Indiana County/Ebensburg. As a key member of our Construction Services Division, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to construction, repair, and restoration of buildings.

• Install and repair structures, including foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs, using a range of materials.
• Fabricate and install window frames, doors, and door hardware, ensuring precise measurements and fit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground levels, maintaining safety protocols.
• Shape and cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations, maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Build and repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures, using woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools.
• Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue.
• Inspect ceiling or floor tile, wall coverings, siding, glass, or woodwork to detect broken or damaged structures.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite, disposing of debris and materials as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of experience in commercial or residential carpentry.
• Ability to comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints, sketches, building plans, and other specifications.
• Strong working knowledge of job site safety and ability to complete a company-specific safety orientation.
