Security Officer Position Available at Justice Cannabis Co

Justice Cannabis Co is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of our facilities, assets, and employees. This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest level of security standards.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Security Officer to perform a variety of security-related tasks, including patrols, surveillance, and incident response. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle to monitor for potential security threats and hazards
- Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards and take appropriate action to mitigate risks
- Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
- Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, trespassing, or other violations
- Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits
- Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate requirements
- Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Driver's License required
- Must pass state requirements listed in state affiliation process
- Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Minimum of 5 years of armed security experience, including nuclear reactor or government facilities armed security experience
- No felony or domestic violence convictions or any criminal charges creating ineligibility to carry a firearm
- Meaningful and verifiable work history
- Ability to operate radio and electronic equipment
- Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public and staff
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Active listening skills
- Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
- Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
- Attention to detail
The Security Officer will work in a fast-paced environment, both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to varying temperatures. The major activities of this position include walking, standing, speaking, listening, and observing. The physical efforts required to carry out job duties include standing, walking, and sitting.
Justice Cannabis Co offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and holidays.
