Job Summary

The Dispensary Associate plays a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a compliant retail experience. As the face of our company, you will be responsible for educating customers about products, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and providing top-notch service to new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record, arrange, and package patient orders
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Enter point of sale system transactions
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a patient and informative manner
  • Maintain a basic understanding of products available
  • Follow best practices for customer engagement and compliance
  • Project a positive image of the organization
  • Build long-term relationships with customers

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in retail or hospitality
  • Minimum 21 years of age (or as required by state regulations)
  • High School diploma required
  • Intermediate-level math skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer-based skills
  • Dynamic interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Personal experience with cannabis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Analytical skills to assess data and facts
  • Proven expertise in managing a register
  • Experience training new hires
  • Experience as a key holder in retail
  • Knowledge of state cannabis regulations
  • 5+ years of retail experience
