About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Grand Itasca, a leading healthcare provider in northern Minnesota. This part-time 0.6 FTE position offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development in a dynamic and supportive environment.


Job Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care on our Medical/Surgical/Pediatric unit, ensuring individualized attention and a patient-centered approach.
  • Conduct thorough admission assessments, identify nursing diagnoses, and develop effective intervention plans to deliver exceptional care.
  • Maintain accurate records, facilitate discharge planning, and communicate professionally with patients, families, and staff to ensure seamless coordination of care.

Requirements
  1. CURRENT REGISTRATION WITH THE MINNESOTA BOARD OF NURSING.
  2. PREVIOUS CLINICAL EXPERIENCE IN ACUTE MED/SURG/PEDS NURSING IS PREFERRED, WITH ABILITY TO CARE FOR ADULT OR GERIATRIC PATIENTS WITH TOTAL JOINT/ORTHOPEDIC, GENERAL MEDICAL AND GENERAL SURGICAL CONDITIONS.
  3. Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities, organize workload, and exhibit critical thinking, delegation skills, and respectful communication.
