About the Position

We are seeking a Visit Care Specialist to join our team in Grand Rapids. This full-time role involves supporting patients throughout their clinic visit experience, from preparation to post-visit follow-up. Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate professionalism and empathy towards patients, families, visitors, and colleagues.
  • Prepare patients for appointments, ensuring medical records are collected and ready for the visit.
  • Stock exam rooms with necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Facilitate seamless communication between patients and healthcare providers.
  • Complete visit wrap-up tasks, including providing after-visit summaries and recommendations for follow-up care.

Requirements
  1. Age 18 or older.
  2. Graduate of a Nursing Aide program, Emergency Medical Technical (EMT) program, or Health Unit Coordinator program.
  3. BLS Certification or ability to obtain within two months of hire.
  4. Minimum one year of customer service experience; previous healthcare experience preferred.
  5. Proficiency with technology, including computer hardware and programs, and smart devices.
  6. Excellent verbal communication skills and strong teamwork abilities.
  7. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to organizational policies.
  8. Consistent attendance and reliable work habits.

Salary and Benefits
