The Housekeeping Attendant is dedicated to ensuring that guests enjoy a seamless and unforgettable stay, making them feel appreciated and cared for. This position involves the cleaning and upkeep of the hotel, focusing primarily on assigned guest rooms, as well as various other areas including public spaces, service areas, and outdoor facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Daily cleaning and polishing of floors in accordance with hotel guidelines.
- Shampoo carpets in public areas as per hotel standards.
- Shampoo furniture when necessary, following hotel protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness in public restrooms and perform regular maintenance as needed throughout the shift.
- Assist guests with luggage during check-in and check-out in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Practice safe working habits to ensure the safety of guests, fellow associates, and oneself.
- Manage lost and found items according to Aimbridge Hospitality policies.
- At the end of each shift, return all keys and assignment sheets to the Housekeeping or Front Office.
- Complete the daily assignment checklist and submit it to the supervisor at the end of the day.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred, along with experience in a hotel or related field.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license for the applicable state and maintain an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to clearly convey information and ideas.
- Capable of quickly and accurately evaluating and selecting among alternative courses of action.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Maintain composure and objectivity under stress.
