About Our Pet Training Program
PetSmart is seeking a skilled Pet Trainer to join our team. As a Pet Trainer, you will lead engaging classes for pet parents and their pets, teaching them valuable skills and behaviors.
About the Role
You will take part in our Pet Training Instructor Accreditation Program, learning proven techniques developed by leading dog trainers. Upon completion, you will emerge as a trusted Accredited Dog Trainer, specializing in dog behavior and learning theory.
Responsibilities
- Teach classes to a variety of dog breeds, sizes, and ages
- Lead each class with an emphasis on the safety and comfort of pets and pet parents
- Show patience to pet parents when training their excited puppies
- Guide pets through our Pet Therapy Training Program
- Build strong bonds with pets and pet parents
