About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Medical Collections Specialist to join our team at GetixHealth. As a Medical Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for gathering information, performing research, and resolving customer inquiries related to medical collections. You will also communicate appropriate options for resolution in a timely manner and schedule work to ensure accurate phone coverage, prioritize calls, and escalate as required.

This role requires a strong understanding of the medical revenue cycle and excellent communication skills. You will need to be able to work independently and collaboratively with others to meet deadlines and achieve goals. We offer a competitive salary range of $16.00-$19.00 per hour, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to medical collections
  • Gather information, perform research, and provide recommendations for resolution
  • Schedule work to ensure accurate phone coverage and prioritize calls
  • Educate customers/patients about services available and assess their needs
