Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our team at FLC Contracting, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the execution of commercial construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project schedules, including creating and updating project timelines and resource allocation plans.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including estimators, superintendents, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring compliance with company financial policies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Ensure all project documentation, including blueprints, permits, and certifications, is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with relevant regulations.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks, including developing and implementing contingency plans as needed.
  • Ensure all project personnel, including subcontractors and employees, are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties safely and effectively.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure all project work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Manage and maintain accurate project records, including project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations, including OSHA and building codes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, as well as other construction management software and tools.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and customer satisfaction.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
