Job Title: Construction Quality Control Manager

RQ Construction is seeking a highly skilled Construction Quality Control Manager to join our Field Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing a project-specific quality control program, ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality control plans to ensure compliance with contract requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential quality issues.
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of quality control activities and results.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as construction management, engineering, or architecture.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the commercial construction industry, with a focus on quality control and assurance.
  • Current USACE CQM for Contractors Certificate and RMS/QCS training preferred.
  • Specialty inspection training and licenses/certs highly desired.
  • LEED AP, AP+, or Green Associate (GA) Certificate preferred.
  • Level 1 EM, CRP, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour certifications required.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in software such as Procore, Autodesk Build, and RMS/QCS.
