Job Description

RQ Construction is seeking a highly skilled Construction Quality Control Manager to join our Field Operations team. This is a project-based opportunity that requires working on-site at various locations throughout the Southeastern US.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and implement project-specific quality control programs to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Execute quality control activities on-site, ensuring timely completion of administrative documentation and maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Cultivate a culture of quality excellence within the team, aligning with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality control issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of combined experience in commercial construction, with a minimum of 2 years as a QC Manager.
  • Current USACE CQM for Contractors Certificate and RMS/QCS training (training available).
  • Desired: Electrical background, specialty inspection training, and licenses/certs; LEED AP, AP+, or Green Associate Certificate; Level 1 EM, CRP, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour certifications.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet) and specific software literacy (Viewpoint/Vista, RMS/QCS) preferred.
