Role Responsibilities
In this strategic position, you will manage various inbound logistics initiatives, ensuring efficient coordination across multiple transportation methods. Your expertise will guide our operations, optimizing processes to enhance service delivery and cost-effectiveness.

Key Duties:

  • Program Management: Lead and manage several inbound transportation initiatives, focusing on planning, execution, and optimization.
  • Team Development: Mentor and guide a team of logistics coordinators and analysts, fostering a culture of success and alignment with our organizational objectives.
  • Transportation Strategy: Apply your extensive knowledge of logistics to create and implement strategic plans that improve routing efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Supplier Relations: Engage with suppliers and logistics partners to negotiate agreements, monitor performance, and address any issues promptly.
  • Process Enhancement: Continuously evaluate and refine inbound transportation workflows to boost efficiency and accuracy across the supply chain.
  • Data Insights: Utilize transportation metrics and KPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement, driving cost-saving initiatives.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to transportation regulations and company policies to maintain operational integrity.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in transportation management, with a strong focus on both ocean and ground logistics.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to cultivate a high-performing team.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in transportation data evaluation.
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems and compliance standards.
