About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Spare Parts Coordinator to join our team at Owens Corning. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining strong inventory accuracy, receiving and processing incoming items, and minimizing slow-moving or obsolete inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Establish and maintain strong 5S standards in the spare part warehouses, ensure SOX compliance, and participate in safety and housekeeping programs.
  • Counts and Cycle Counts: Count spare parts on a regular basis, record counts in SAP, and establish a cycle count schedule for the next 12 months.
  • Receiving and Processing: Receive and put away coded and non-coded parts into SAP, ensure proper documentation, and prepare non-coded part kits for the maintenance team.
  • Other Responsibilities: Coordinate training programs, handle special projects, and perform Good Receipts on plant purchase orders.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: An Associate's degree or applicable experience preferred, with SAP experience, purchasing, Excel, Word, and MS Mail skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to perform repetitive hand, arm, leg movements, climb on and off a fork truck, stand for 10-12 hours, and lift/push/pull 50lbs or more.
