Key Responsibilities:
1.) Ensure high precision in inventory management of spare parts warehouses.
2.) Oversee the intake process for all incoming materials.
3.) Reduce the presence of slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
Core Duties:
Warehouse Oversight:
Implement and uphold rigorous 5S standards within spare parts storage areas.
Guarantee compliance with SOX regulations and maintain accurate record-keeping.
Engage in safety and cleanliness initiatives as mandated by the facility.
Inventory Counts:
Conduct regular inventory counts of spare parts and document findings in SAP.
Develop and maintain a cycle counting schedule for the upcoming year.
Identify spare parts for setup in SAP to facilitate future procurement.
Collaborate with the Maintenance Team to verify the accuracy of safety stock levels for critical spare parts.
Assess all spare parts with the Maintenance Team to identify obsolete items.
Partner with the Maintenance Buyer to eliminate outdated inventory.
Enforce policies and procedures related to work orders to ensure accuracy.
Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies to implement sustainable solutions.
Receiving Process:
Manage the receipt and organization of both coded and non-coded parts in SAP.
Ensure completion of necessary documentation in accordance with SOX requirements.
Prepare non-coded part kits for the maintenance team efficiently.
Perform goods receipts on plant purchase orders to assist the buyer.
Establish and maintain a designated receiving area with strong ties to maintenance operations.
Additional Responsibilities:
Coordinate training initiatives for Operations and Maintenance personnel.
Manage special projects as assigned.
Required Skills and Competencies:

Basic computer proficiency.
Strong analytical capabilities.

Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.

Technical Proficiencies:
The candidate must be capable of operating a computer and other keyboard instruments.
Education and Experience:
An Associate's Degree or relevant experience is preferred.
Experience:
Familiarity with SAP, purchasing processes, Excel, Word, and MS Mail.
Physical Requirements:
The candidate should be able to:
Perform repetitive hand, arm, and leg movements for extended periods.
Climb on and off a forklift.
Stand for prolonged periods.
Ascend and descend stairs continuously for up to 12 hours.
Lift, push, and pull weights of 50 lbs or more frequently throughout the day.
Squat, bend at the waist and knees with ease.
Adapt to temperature variations and noise levels that may be uncomfortable.
Engage in repetitive movements and handle various tools and objects.
