Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and Treat Hearing Loss: Conduct thorough assessments to determine the extent of hearing loss and develop personalized treatment plans to address the issue.
- Administer Audiometric Tests: Utilize a range of tests to evaluate hearing levels and recommend suitable hearing aids and treatment options.
- Prescribe and Fit Hearing Aids: Work with patients to select and fit hearing aids, ensuring optimal performance and comfort.
- Provide Counseling and Support: Offer guidance and support to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Keep comprehensive records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes.
- License and Certification: Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience: Minimum of 0-6 months of experience as a certified Audiologist.
- Special Skills/Training: Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
