Audiology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team at East Jefferson General Hospital, a part of LCMC Health. As an Audiologist, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating hearing loss in our patients.

• Conduct comprehensive audiometric tests to assess hearing levels and identify hearing loss
• Prescribe and fit hearing aids, as well as provide aural rehabilitative services to patients
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in audiology and hearing loss treatment
• Provide exceptional patient care and education to promote hearing health and wellness

• Master's degree in Audiology or related field
• Current certification in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Minimum 0-6 months of experience as a certified Audiologist
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
