Audiology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team at LCMC Health. As an Audiologist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and Treat Hearing Loss: Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and develop personalized treatment plans to address hearing loss and related issues.
- Administer Audiometric Tests: Utilize a range of tests to determine patient hearing levels and identify areas for improvement.
- Prescribe and Fit Hearing Aids: Work with patients to select and fit hearing aids, ensuring optimal results and patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in audiology and hearing care.
- License and Certification: Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and a license to practice audiology in the state of Louisiana.
- Experience: Minimum of 0-6 months of experience as a certified Audiologist.
- Special Skills/Training: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
