Integrated Engineering Design (IED) Group:
Our IED group delivers comprehensive engineering solutions to a wide range of clients, including institutional, industrial, residential, and commercial sectors. We specialize in areas such as transit, telecommunications, waste management, higher education, and food/beverage facilities, providing reliable and cost-effective infrastructure for both new and retrofit projects. Our team's diverse expertise in design and construction positions us as leaders in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in all phases of commissioning projects, encompassing planning, scheduling, and coordination of tasks.
  • Conduct engineering design evaluations, develop commissioning test protocols and reports, oversee client-site testing, and manage on-site staff training.
  • Create pre-start-up and start-up procedures; develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Methods of Procedures (MOPs); ensure comprehensive commissioning documentation.
  • Maintain commissioning logs, equipment checklists, and other tracking tools for commissioning projects.
  • Prepare detailed reports with recommendations for optimizing building operations, functional checklists, and maintenance manuals.
  • Review design criteria, specifications, drawings, equipment submissions, and other relevant documentation.
  • Participate in commissioning meetings and collaborate with construction contractors, vendors, and testing technicians.
  • Perform integrated system testing and develop functional tests for various building MEP systems, including HVAC, pumps, chillers, and power distribution units.
  • Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of commissioning services for both new and existing structures.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an engineering service delivery organization or consulting/design environment, with proven expertise in MEP systems.
  • Experience in Data Center or Mission Critical environments is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is advantageous.
  • Possession of EIT, LEED AP accreditation, or CXA, AABC, ACG certifications is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as this role involves significant documentation and client interaction.
  • Proficiency in technical writing and systems development is required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD is necessary.
  • Knowledge of MEP systems and controls design, installation, and operation is beneficial.
  • Ability to present complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences, including contractors and engineers.
  • This position may require domestic and/or international travel up to 75% of the time.
  • A proven track record in commissioning planning, functional testing, and building performance investigations is essential.
