Position Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to provide technical leadership on a variety of high-reliability projects, particularly in sectors such as financial services, government, and telecommunications. This role requires a strong background in mission-critical facilities and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical efforts on projects involving data centers and mission-critical environments.
  • Collaborate with design teams to establish project scope and deliverables.
  • Conduct engineering analyses to evaluate system alternatives and support equipment selection.
  • Perform field observations and document findings to ensure quality assurance.
  • Prepare comprehensive risk assessments and reliability studies.
  • Oversee commissioning activities, including whole building commissioning and retro-commissioning.
  • Engage in extensive site visits across North America to deliver commissioning services.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Assist in proposal development and support business development initiatives.
  • Mentor junior staff and promote professional growth within the team.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in consulting engineering for mission-critical facilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Professional Engineer (PE) designation required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in HVAC systems and mechanical controls.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Commitment to teamwork and exceptional customer service.
