Role Responsibilities
The Program Director plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing a diverse array of programs and services for our after-school initiatives and summer camps. This position involves planning, developing, and implementing various programs to ensure comprehensive coverage and support for our members.
Key Duties
- Facilitating Youth Success:
Oversee the administration of programs that align with our Youth Development Outcomes. Establish clear objectives that reflect our organizational mission and ensure daily activities meet established standards. - Program Development:
Maintain program goals that prioritize the health and safety of our members. Regularly evaluate programs to ensure they meet the needs of our diverse community and stay within budgetary constraints. - Staff Supervision:
Monitor and allocate tasks to volunteers and staff, providing constructive feedback and identifying training opportunities. Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting on program activities and participation.
Qualifications
Applicants must be at least 20 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates should have relevant experience or education in child development, education, or recreation, along with a demonstrated commitment to working with children.
