Site Director

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern NH is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to oversee programming and daily enrichment activities at our Laconia, NH site. As a Site Director, you will be responsible for managing the overall daily operations of the site, ensuring a comprehensive and outcome-driven program and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and implement site programs, activities, and services that prepare youth for success.
• Promote and stimulate program participation, register new members, and provide guidance and role modeling to members.
• Ensure compliance with childcare licensing requirements and maintain a healthy, safe environment.
• Develop and increase the visibility of the Club programs through daily schedule posting, event announcements, and dissemination of information.
• Maintain close contact with Club staff, members, and supervisors to receive and provide information, discuss issues, and explain guidelines.
• Develop and maintain public relations to increase the visibility of programs, services, and activities within the Club and the community.
• Lead recruitment, retention, and public outreach efforts for partners, volunteers, members, and parents.
• Manage a budget, control expenditures, and compile regular reports reflecting all activities, attendance, and participation.

Requirements:

• At least 20 years of age and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• One of the following: an associate's degree in child development, education, recreation, or other field of study focused on children; certification as a recreation director plus 1000 hours of experience working with children; 12 credits in child development, education, recreation, or other field of study focused on children plus 1000 hours of experience working with children; current certification as an educator by the Department of Education; or experience working with children totaling 2000 hours.
