About the Role

Marin Community Clinics is seeking a highly skilled Medical Scribe to join our team. As a Medical Scribe, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality and efficiency of our patient care by accurately documenting patient information in our electronic health record (EHR) system.


Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Accurately documenting patient information, including symptoms, history, physical exams, and treatment plans, in the EHR system.
  • Assisting providers with documentation during patient visits, including transcribing orders and results.
  • Ensuring that all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and efficient patient care.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare staff.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is between $25.00 and $28.00, depending on experience.
