Job Title: Spanish Online Tutor for Children

We are seeking a highly qualified and enthusiastic Spanish language instructor to join our team of online tutors. As a Spanish online tutor for children, you will be responsible for providing engaging and interactive language lessons to students aged 2-17 using our proprietary video-conference platform.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Spanish language lessons to students, using our engaging content modules and proprietary video-conference platform.
  • Help students improve their Spanish fluency through fun and interesting conversations.
  • Provide gentle corrections and feedback to students as needed, and add new words to their personalized word list.
  • Write update notes after each lesson to track student progress.

Requirements:

  • Native fluency in Spanish and strong English speaking and writing skills.
  • Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or PhD in education or language, with 2 years of experience teaching or working with children.
  • Patient, kind, energetic, and FUN presence over video-conference.
  • Ability to commit to 9+ months of working with PandaTree.
  • Available for tutoring at least 15 hours a week, including during the school year.

Technical Requirements:

  • Reliable, high-speed internet connection (minimum 100 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload).
  • Laptop or desktop computer, less than 2 years old, Mac or PC.
  • Camera and microphone (built-in or plug-in).
  • Good lighting for an evenly lit face.
  • Quiet, private, interruption-free room, with a plain background to conduct online tutoring sessions.

Benefits:

  • $18-$24 per hour (tutors who tutor more than 15 hours per week earn a higher pay rate).
  • Flexible hours – 15 to 30 hours per week; you choose the hours you are available.
  • Work from the safety and comfort of your home.
  • Get hired as a part-time employee; PandaTree pays some of your employment taxes.
  • Get paid for training time and for lessons canceled within 24 hours of lesson start time.
  • Get paid every 2 weeks by direct deposit to your bank account.
