Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Condition Assessment Professional to join our team at JLL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough property condition assessments to ensure the highest level of quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct property condition assessments to ASTM Standard E2018 and client-specific protocols
  • Evaluate building systems and conditions, including seismic, accessibility, MEP, and other specialties
  • Conduct walk-through surveys to assess property condition and identify potential issues
  • Interview property owners, occupants, and key site personnel to gather information about property condition
  • Review repair and improvement cost information, certificates of occupancy, maintenance reports, and other relevant documents
  • Take photographs of representative systems, conditions, and physical deficiencies
  • Estimate costs to remedy deficiencies
  • Provide technical direction and guidance to junior-level assessors
  • Develop business with clients and present services to support revenue growth
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field
  • Minimum three years of experience with property condition assessments and/or related services
  • General understanding of property systems, including site work, structural, building envelope, and MEP
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification as a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect
  • Certification as a US EPA AHERA inspector
