Job Title: Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Veolia North America. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for supervising a team of field employees in providing services to clients that result in the safe disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. You will coordinate subcontractors and field personnel within the job specifications and regulatory guidelines, providing guidance and training to all field service employees. Additionally, you will prepare project estimates, proposals, and assist with contract preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Leads teams in the packing, labeling, manifesting, and shipping of hazardous waste from customer sites to appropriate disposal centers.

* Complies with all applicable governmental regulations and Veolia policies and procedures.

* Recognizes and acts on opportunities to increase value-added services that benefit customers.

* Maintains a professional image to clients by answering inquiries and suggesting solutions to existing and/or potential problems.

* Complies with and enforces all compliance, health, and safety procedures in accordance with departmental procedures.

* Ensures completion and accuracy of all DOT/EPA and Veolia regulations required in submitting paperwork.

* Ensures completion of all mandatory training courses as required by OSHA and updated refresher courses instituted by the company.

* Oversees the operation and maintenance of all equipment to ensure optimum efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

* BS in Chemistry or BA in a related science discipline or equivalent work experience required.

* 5 to 7 years of hazardous waste experience required.

* 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Commercial Drivers License (CDL), Class B.
