Quality HEDIS/STARs Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality HEDIS/STARs Coordinator to join our team at Optum. As a Quality HEDIS/STARs Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of medical care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate HEDIS and STARs data to identify areas for improvement
  • Educate patients on quality measures and develop strategies to close gaps
  • Analyze data to evaluate quality and completeness of clinical gap closures
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory standards and guidelines
  • Work closely with local leadership to execute quality strategies
  • Support and assist PCPs/clinics with quality data collection
  • Provide reports and monitor performance at the local level
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of healthcare experience, including experience in a managed care setting
  • 3+ years of experience with data analysis/quality chart reviews
  • HEDIS/STAR experience or participation with similar regulatory reporting
  • Experience using Microsoft office applications, including databases, word-processing, and excel spreadsheets
