As an Infrastructure Solutions Engineer, candidates are expected to exhibit extensive design and implementation expertise. This role involves overseeing service delivery for our clients throughout the deployment lifecycle, which includes planning, designing, implementing, optimizing, and documenting solutions. Excellent technical and communication skills are essential for collaborating with vendors, partners, and sales teams to ensure optimal systems solutions are delivered to our customers. Candidates should be highly motivated, eager to learn about new products and technologies, and committed to providing outstanding customer service while nurturing strong client relationships. A minimum of three years of experience in the relevant technologies is required, with most staging and implementations conducted on-site with clients. Travel may be necessary to support remote locations or other regions as needed, and some after-hours work may be required.

Key Responsibilities

+ Engage in final design discussions with clients.

+ Oversee the staging and implementation of designated solutions.

+ Document client-specific configurations and as-built information.

+ Conduct training sessions on the technologies relevant to the configured solutions.

+ Provide regular project status updates.

+ Optionally, based on experience, facilitate customer workshops and design sessions.

+ Generate project deliverables, including requirements documents, cabling details, cutover plans, resiliency test plans, and diagrams.

+ Offer informal knowledge transfer to clients as needed.

+ Mentor and guide junior engineers within the team.

Qualifications

Required:

+ A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, including military service.

+ Relevant certifications as defined by the technologies involved.

+ A minimum of five years of related experience in a project-based deployment environment.

+ Proficiency in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory and Group Policy.

+ Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).

+ Proven success in data and server migrations, both local and cloud-based.

+ Intermediate networking skills, including DNS, VLANs, and TCP/IP, with a focus on network security.

+ Strong documentation skills using Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Desired Certifications:

+ CompTIA – Network+, Security+

+ Cisco - CCNA

+ Other Security Certifications – CEH, CCSP

+ Azure Certifications: Fundamentals, Network Engineer Associate, Security Engineer Associate, Solutions Architect Expert.

The typical pay range for this role is $106,000.00-$131,000.00. This range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions within this job grade. The actual base salary offer will depend on various factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant considerations.
