Commercial Construction Estimator Opportunity

Growing People and Companies (GPAC), a leading search firm, is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Construction Estimator to join their team. Estimator Responsibilities:
  • Lead the estimating process for multiple projects valued between $5M-200M.
  • Develop and implement estimating resources, guidelines, best practices, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with senior management to drive business growth in line with the firm's strategic direction.
  • Ensure the completeness and accuracy of submissions.
  • Negotiate bids on new build projects.
  • Review subcontractor proposals and level out subcontractor bids.
  • Create subcontractor bid scopes of work.
  • Perform quantity take-offs and square foot analysis.
Estimator Qualifications:
  • 7 years of directly related experience in commercial/residential construction.
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Knowledge of different construction methods, planning, scheduling, and sequencing.
  • Strong management skills and ability to lead and motivate team members.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and judge when to involve others.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to problem solve and generate innovative solutions.
