As a key member of our student health services team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing nutrition programs and services for our students. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement nutrition programs and services for students, including one-on-one consultation services, group education sessions, and outreach initiatives.
- Provide medical nutrition therapy and nutrition education to students, including assessment, treatment, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with other health professionals to provide comprehensive care to students.
- Develop and present health education and promotion programs, training, workshops, social media, and outreach initiatives on nutrition education and body positivity.
- Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two to three years of job-related experience.
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) or equivalent certification.
- Knowledge of health promotion, behavior changes, and population-based theories.
- Experience with evidence-based health promotion programs and initiatives.
- Ability to work outside of typical business hours as needed.
Georgia Tech offers a competitive salary range of $28.85 to $32.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 403(b) retirement plan.
