Rotork is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical expertise and support for Production Engineering tasks. This role will involve designing, implementing, and documenting processes for shop floor activities, ensuring compliance with external regulatory bodies and internal requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement processes for shop floor activities, taking into account best engineering practice, health and safety requirements, environmental requirements, and product quality.
- Participate in audits of company activities and provide technical support for shopfloor trainers in maintaining process instructions and documentation control.
- Develop and provide specialist jigs or fixtures to assist production build and test activities.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues and provide support for maintenance activities.
- Assist in improving maintenance processes and provide estimates for equipment costs for proposals and project cost targets.
- Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, etc.)
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent computer skills, including Excel, Access, and Word
- Good basic electro/mechanical engineering skills
- Experience or ability to learn LabVIEW
- H&S Qualification
- Good awareness of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement techniques
Salary Range: $75,000 - $87,500 + Bonus Eligible
