Manufacturing Process Lead
Job Description
As a Manufacturing Process Lead at Actalent, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of customer documentation changes and internal change orders. You will lead products through prototype, pilot, and production builds, ensuring seamless transitions and quality control. Your expertise in statistical tools will drive quality improvement within the customer team, and you will actively participate in new customer development and new business development. You will analyze line return information to understand and drive corrective action on manufacturing process issues. Additionally, you will perform product-level tasks as required and develop in-depth knowledge of customer's products to support product's transitional activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead products through prototype, pilot, and production builds
Oversee the implementation of customer documentation changes and internal change orders
Drive quality improvement within the customer team using statistical tools
Analyze line return information to understand and drive corrective action on manufacturing process issues
Perform product-level tasks as required
Requirements:
BS of engineering
Minimum of 2+ years as a manufacturing engineer in a production setting
Ability to solve and document moderately complex cross-departmental issues using structured problem-solving tools
Engineering level understanding of electronic components, circuits, and systems or mechanical components and systems depending upon education
